Creator Agreement
For creators who publish content and receive payouts: the licence you grant, how earnings are computed and paid, and the grounds for termination.
1. Who this applies to#
This agreement applies once your account is approved as a creator and you publish content on Apex — stock picks, articles, study material or other content — whether or not you receive a payout. It supplements the Terms of Service; every obligation there continues to apply to you as a user.
You are an independent party, not an employee, not an agent and not our representative. This agreement creates no employment, partnership or joint venture. You are responsible for your own taxes and for any licence your activity requires.
2. Licence in your content#
You keep the copyright in the content you create. We do not take ownership of it.
By publishing content on Apex you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence, sublicensable to our service providers so far as needed to operate the Service, to:
- store, display, reproduce and distribute your content within the Service and on Apex’s own channels;
- create extracts, summaries and previews for navigation, search, notifications and promotion of the Service;
- translate your content into the other languages the Service supports, including by machine. Translations are marked as translations;
- adapt its technical format so it can be displayed on different devices and screen sizes.
3. What you warrant#
For every piece of content you publish, you confirm that:
- it is your own work, or you hold the rights to publish it here;
- it infringes no one’s copyright, trade mark, trade secret or other rights;
- it contains no material non-public inside information;
- it is not part of an effort to move a price improperly, and you are not paid by anyone else to promote a security without disclosing it;
- you disclose your position in a security you discuss, where you hold one;
- you do not present yourself as holding an Investment Adviser licence if you do not, and do not offer paid personalised investment advice through the Service;
- you label AI-generated or AI-assisted content as the Service requires.
You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content breaching the warranties above.
4. How earnings are computed#
If it comes into force, creator earnings are computed from paid subscriber revenue and shared out on two bases: reader engagement with your content during the period, and paid subscribers featuring you as a chosen creator.
- Reader engagement is recorded as weighted events. Comments, quote replies and content saves carry different weights. The weights in force are shown on the creator dashboard.
- Your weighted total is compared against the weighted total of all eligible creators to determine your share of that period’s engagement pool. There is no multiplier based on your creator standing: standing describes how many of your calls have resolved, and moves no rupiah.
- The featured share is divided equally among the creators a given paid subscriber has featured.
- A platform fee is deducted from that gross figure. The remainder is your net payout.

5. Creator standing#
Your standing describes how many of your calls have resolved — that is, how many of your recommendations have reached their horizon and been measured. It is not a judgement of your ability, it asserts no qualification, and it does not affect what you are paid.
- Baru — no resolved calls yet.
- Terpantau — 1 to 9 calls resolved.
- Teruji — 10 to 49 calls resolved.
- Rekam panjang — 50 or more calls resolved, with an account 12 months old or more.
The underlying numbers are always shown beside the label — the count of resolved calls, the accuracy rate, and the difference against the market’s benchmark index. This is deliberate: a label on its own is a claim, while a label beside its evidence is an observation. Where too few calls have been adjudicated to produce a meaningful rate, we write that it is not enough to say, rather than writing 0%.
Standing is assessed automatically each day and recomputed from your record of calls. Because a resolved call cannot become unresolved, standing in practice only rises.
6. Payment#
- The settlement period is a calendar month in Western Indonesian Time (WIB). Settlement runs at the start of the following month over the whole preceding month.
- All payments are in Rupiah, to an Indonesian bank account in your own name. We do not pay to a third party’s account.
- You must keep your bank details correct. A payment that fails because of wrong details will be retried after you correct them; costs arising from the error are yours.
- A net payout below the payout threshold is not disbursed for that period. The threshold in force is stated in the payout schedule.
- Disbursement is processed by our payment provider. The time for funds to reach your account depends on the receiving bank.
- The amount we pay is gross of taxes that are your obligation. Where tax rules require us to withhold tax on a payment to you, we will withhold and provide a withholding certificate.
- If you believe a payout was computed wrongly, raise it within 60 days of the end of the period concerned so the records can still be traced.
We may withhold or cancel a payout arising from fabricated engagement — duplicate accounts, networks of accounts commenting on each other, or automation. Where we find this after payment, the amount may be set off against a future payout.
7. Content removal, suspension and termination#
We may remove content or suspend your creator status where:
- the content breaches the warranties above, the Acceptable Use Policy, or the Copyright Policy;
- we receive a valid copyright infringement notice;
- there is a reasonable suspicion of market manipulation, use of inside information, or fabricated engagement;
- you present yourself as holding a licence you do not have, or offer paid personalised investment advice through the Service;
- a competent authority orders it or the law requires it.
Except for serious breaches or where the law requires immediate action, we will give you the reason and an opportunity to respond. You may appeal a removal or suspension decision to [email protected].
You may end this agreement at any time by telling us. Earnings accrued to the termination date are still paid in the next payment cycle, provided they meet the threshold and do not arise from fabricated engagement. The licence in already-published content continues as set out above.
