Refund Policy

When credits are reversed automatically, when money is returned, and what happens to a failed or duplicated top-up.

The Indonesian text is the operative and binding version. The English text is provided as a courtesy translation only and does not govern. Where the two differ in meaning, the Indonesian text prevails. This follows Law No. 24 of 2009.

1. Two different things both called a refund#

Credit reversal
Credits already debited are returned to your balance. This happens automatically, in the product, without you asking.
Money refund
Money you paid is returned to your payment source. Processed manually by us, only in the cases listed below.

2. Automatic credit reversal#

Credits debited for an action are reversed automatically when:

  • the action failed because of an error on our side (a server error); or
  • the data you asked for does not exist — for example there is no data for the symbol you entered; or
  • a background job you paid for ends in a failed state.

Credits are returned to exactly the same kinds they were taken from — allowance back to allowance, paid back to paid, grant back to grant — so a failure that is not your fault does not change your expiry dates.

If you believe a credit debit was wrong and it was not reversed automatically, send the details to [email protected]. We can trace the usage record on your account and reverse it manually if it was indeed wrong.

3. Failed or duplicated credit purchases#

Payment is processed by Xendit. We create an invoice, you pay it on Xendit’s page, and Xendit notifies us when payment is received. Credits land in your account when that notification arrives, not when you press pay.

Payment abandoned or invoice expired
An invoice is valid for 24 hours. If you do not pay it, it lapses by itself: no money moves and no credits arrive. There is nothing to refund.
Money taken but credits did not arrive
This is a failure we have to fix. Send proof of payment and the Xendit reference to [email protected]. We check it against Xendit’s records and, if the payment was indeed received, we apply the credits. Credits applied this way carry a 30-day validity from the date your payment was received, not from the date we fixed it, so our delay does not cost you days.
Paid twice
Each invoice has its own reference, so reopening the payment page does not create a duplicate invoice. But if two payments genuinely settle for the same order, report it to [email protected] with both references. We will refund one payment to the original payment source, or — if you prefer — apply credits for the second payment.
A payment you did not make
Report it immediately. We will suspend the account concerned while we investigate, and you should also report it to your bank or e-wallet provider.

4. What is not refunded#

Credits are a digital good delivered immediately on receipt of payment. So, apart from the cases above:

  • Credits already in your account cannot be un-bought and cannot be cashed out.
  • Paid credits that lapsed after 30 days are not returned in any form, including where you simply did not get around to using them.
  • Allowance credits that lapse at period end are not returned and do not roll over.
  • Cancelling or downgrading a subscription does not produce a refund for the remainder of the current period; benefits run to period end.
  • A remaining balance on a closed account is forfeited. See the Terms of Service.
  • Dissatisfaction with an analysis’s conclusion is not a ground for refund. Read the Risk Disclosure: AI output can be wrong, and we say so up front, not afterwards.

5. How to make a claim#

Email [email protected] from your registered address, include the payment reference or the date and amount of the transaction, and describe what happened. Refunds are sent to the original payment source; we do not send refunds to a third party’s account.

[TO BE COMPLETED]Committed turnaround time for refunds

Once we have processed it, the time for funds to reach your account depends on your bank or e-wallet provider and is outside our control.
